Description
Up for auction is a very rare copy of the classic Tom Waits album "Blue Valentine" originally released on Asylum Records (6E-162) in 1978.

-No UPC/bar code on cover -Record comes in archival poly audiophile inner sleeve
Condition: The cover is in very nice condition with only minor signs of wear. Front and back are clean, no ring wear, nice shine. Seams are strong, no splits, but back top of gatefold has the beginning of a small crack, not significant really. Corners are nice, with minor rub. Front has promo sticker. Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies.
The vinyl is in very nice condition, still has its original high gloss shine. No obvious scratches or scuffs, just some faint, superficial signs of having been taken out of paper inner sleeve a couple times. Under intense light, looks like there are a few faint hairlines in and along run-out groove, do not affect play, which is excellent. Looks like it's been played maybe once or twice, but handled very carefully. Nice! Grade: Near Mint (NM).
