Description
Up for auction is a super rare original copy of the Tom Petty album "Damn The Torpedoes" originally released in the U.S. on Backstreet/MCA Records (MCA 5105) in 1979.
-Guaranteed original pressing
-Still factory sealed
-NO UPC/bar code on cover
Condition:
Cover is very nice, no significant signs of wear or age. Corners are nice, no bumped or rubbed. Has a light crease in upper right corner. NO factory cut outs or punch holes, which means that this is an original pressing, not a reissue. Also, the reissues had UPC/bar codes, and this one does NOT. The shrink wrap is in excellent condition, no tears or missing pieces--it does have its original factory breathe holes, which indicates that this copy has never been opened and never been resealed. Shrink has some sticker residue in upper right corner. Very nice. Grade: Near Mint (NM).
The vinyl is in Mint (M) condition, never opened, never played.
