This is a Limited Edition Box Set, with a total of 3000 copies made.

The box is structurally sound, but it does have an area on the back side of the flap where the paper at the top is curling down and there one tear in the paper.  Other than that it has just light wear here and there, and a couple of very small chips in the paper on the bottom, very minor. 

The LP covers are all well preserved, grading either NM or M. 

The records grade either NM or M, with the exceptions being an "L" shaped surface scratch on the song "Money Becomes King" on "The Last DJ" album.  This mark cannot be felt on the grooves, but brings this LP to a strong VG+.  Also, the first LP of "Wildflowers" has a surface scratch on the song "Don't Fade On Me".  This mark cannot be felt on the grooves, but brings this LP down to a strong VG+.  The second LP of "Wildflowers" has some light scuffing here and there and an actual scratch at the end of Side 4 that can be lightly felt on the grooves, measuring about 2 inches.  Although a clean record, the scratch brings this LP down to VG.

All of our LP's are shipped in sturdy cardboard LP mailers with appropriate padding.

With the exception of sealed LP's, all LP's are removed from their outer sleeves to prevent seam splitting.

All records are carefully graded. In an attempt to give customers an accurate impression of condition rather than adhere to somewhat arbitrary criteria, The Great Escape gives an "overall presentation" grade; we do not give a "listening" grade. Our vinyl listings are supplemented when necessary with additional remarks. For example: where some dealers will not allow a cut corner on an otherwise near mint jacket (often automatically relegating it to a VG+ at best), we may grade such a record as NM and note the cut-out mark (thereby letting you know what it "really" looks like: a near-perfect record with a cut corner). LPs are graded cover first, followed by the grade for the vinyl.
