Description
This record is part of my personal, private collection from the 60s and 70s.
I bought all my records brand new and transferred them straight away into cardboard sleeves, for added protection.
For more than 30 years my collection has remained untouched and in secure storage, with the records upright in wooden record cases. All my records are therefore in near mint, very good or good condition.
TOBI LEGEND - Time Will Pass You By (ERIC 5011)
This is NOT the original 1968 US release, which was on Mala records, but a US re-issue I bought new, back in the 70’s, on ERIC 5011, with the flip side “Heartbreaker”.
An absolute classic record. acclaimed by many as one of the greatest Northern Soul songs of all time, and one of the famous "Three Before Eight" records” played at the close of all Wigan Casino all-nighters.
Note :- This is a styrene record not vinyl, but I’ve looked after it since new, so there’s very little sign of wear or surface markings and both labels are perfect.
Yes, there’s the odd “crackle”, mainly on the intro, which you do tend to get with styrene records, but I would still consider it to be in very good condition and it plays well.
