For sale is a limited edition signed vinyl release of Fucked Up Friends by Tobacco (Anticon, abr0089LP).
Fucked Up Friends is the first studio album by electronic musician Tobacco, who also happens to be the leader of experimental psych act Black Moth Super Rainbow. As with his work in BMSR Fucked Up Friends packs a punch!
All the hallmarks are there; the walls of squelchy synths, the oscillating melodies, the vocoder-ed vocals and the overall woozy and intoxicating bear hug of sound that envelops the listener from start to finish. The track "Street Trash" combines gritty ghettoblaster thuds with an industrial, engine-revving groove. Halfway-point overachiever "Berries That Burn"-- a track that starts on a stolen Boards of Canada astral hum before blasting off with aggressive drum patterns and pitchy siren synths-- also melts the soul and ears of any audience with its beat-centric methodology. Friends' lone collaborative contribution comes courtesy of Definitive Jux rapper Aesop Rock - as always, Aesop is equal parts clever and eccentric - who lends rhymes to "Dirt", another strong cut.

This Anticon Records release is limited to 1000 copies and as well as that was signed by Tom Fec (Tobacco) and Maureen Boyle (member of Black Moth Super Rainbow) during the 2017 Tobacco tour.
Disc is EX with very light play wear, very very faint hiss but only during quiet parts.
Jacket is EX aside from minor corner dings and a bit of noticeable creasing on both sides, nothing overwhelming but worth noting (see pictures for details).
The cover has an autograph by Tobacco (over the top face) as well as being signed by Maureen Boyle, AKA Seven Fields Of Aphelion, (over the bottom face).
