Details / Extras : The record comes from my own collection, looks unplayed and shows NO signs of use. I doubt you'll ever find another copy in this pristine condition.

Bio / Comments : Formed by ex-Brainticket members, German Werner Fröhlich, Swiss-born Cosimo Lampis and Benjamin "Beni" Jaeger (who left the band right after this album was finished) together with Italian Vittorio "Vic" Vergeat who played with UK's Hawkwind briefly, in Basel, Switzerland during 1970. The legendary Psychedelic/Kraut/Hard Rock band released their eponymous debut album in 1971 on the German Hallelujah label, distributed by Bellaphon  Records, also from Germany. (For those out there who are not so good in European history: The language spoken in Germany, Austria and most parts of Switzerland is indeed German).

Though the band was not commercially successful outside of their own country and in neighbouring Austria and Germany, they were a popular live act because of their furiosity, musicanship and stage antics. Most notably when lead guitarist Vic Vergeat played the guitar with his teeth. Their concerts were often compared to those of Jimi Hendrix. 

The band went through lineup changes during its history, but the longest lasting and most consistent lineup was Vic Vergeat, lead guitar and vocals, Werner Fröhlich, bass and vocals and Cosimo Lampis on drums.

The album offered for sale here is their said debut album. It is an ULTRA RARE German FIRST pressing, NOT a re-issue.

It comes from my own collection and the record in a pristine condition. I doubt you'll ever find a better copy of this very sought after gem.
