Description
TINA LOUISE as slinky singer
Gilligan's Island 'Ginger'
On Gilligan's Island, you know that Ginger Grant aspired to be a glamorous singer, but did you know that before being stranded she had that singing and modeling career? It was back in the late '50s when Tina Louise started appearing in naughty magazines with some photos that revealed far more of 'Ginger' than you ever expected. Along with all those photos inside girly magazines, came a few more public modeling jobs, including an album for Urania Records.
This single is from the summer of 1958, and featured the 24-year-old model singing "I'll Be Yours," and "In The Evening." This single the only one she cut for United Artists. BOTH of these songs are unique to the 45 and are not on her rare Lp. These days, some forty years later, it's tougher than tough to find anyone who's even seen this record, much less offered it for sale. Until now.
