A collection of 22 , four record box sets, Time Life Records original “Great Men of Music,” vinyl LP series
16 of the 22 sets are still new in wrapper. The other 6 are in mint condition.
Each box set also includes a 9” x 12” illustrated booklet with biographical notes on the life of the composer and a Listener’s Guide to enhance appreciation of each selection. These are sold as is with no returns.
This classical collection features the major works by the following composers, performed by leading contemporary symphonic orchestras and soloists of the time: Giuseppe Verdi, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Dmitri Shostakovich, Bela Bartok, Franz Joseph Haydn, Felix Mendelssohn, Antonin Dvorak, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Frederic Chopin, Johann Sebastian Bach, Sergei Prokofiev, Antunio Vivaldi, Franz Liszt, Johannes Brahms, Franz Schubert, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Aaron Copland, Giacomo Puccini, Richard Strauss, Claude Debussy, Richard Wagner, Gustav Mahler, George Frideric Handel, Robert Schumann, Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky,Maurice Ravel, Anton Bruckner, Hector Berliotz, Jean Sibelius and Igor Stravinsky (six of these composers are not included.
