You are viewing: Very Rare Japan original press LP. early 70s Promotional only released LP by Sony, possibly to promote the fidelity of their recording systems?! What they released is a killer album of exclusive tracks, featuring group Time Cycle (aka Jazz-Funk group Zerosen who released 2 sought after LP's on Victor) who play tight Jazz Funk covers of Funk and Soul classics "The In Crowd", "Soulful Strut", "Mercy Mercy Mercy" and others. The real standouts are two tracks by Sakurai Hideakira Band (Sakurai Hideakira wrote the music for the cult "Baby Cub" samurai films), two brilliant Psych-Funk cuts, one a downbeat bluesy Funk instrumental, the other a Funky Psych freakout track full of Afro and latin percussion. GRADING: I will try and add details but the grades i use are:
MINT -  i will only use MINT for sealed records    NM - barely played - immaculate EX - played but in top condition VG+ - maybe a few superficial marks, but plays through with v. little or no noise  VG - some marks light scratches, might play with some background noise, and/or clicks but no jumps G+ - very marked, lots of noise / scratches
