up for auction here is a very rare ORIGINAL OFFICIAL UNPLAYED EMI/CAPITOL AUSTRALIA Records OPEN ENDED TRACK BY TRACK INTERVIEW PROMOTIONAL ONLY 12" LP vinyl pressing by Tim Finn(of Split Enz/Crowded House etc)....for his self titled 1989 release titled....Tim Finn
this record features Tim Finn actually talking about and discussing songs etc to be used on commercial radio only.
you could never buy this record...it was manufactured specifically for promotional purposes only.....specifically banded for radio stations to promote the release of his record.
I have never seen another copy of this lp.
this record has never been played and is in MINT condition except for a few fingerprints...it comes with a plain white die cut sleeve which has a promotional only green sticker on the sleeve which states it is a Radio Special and is limited edition and not for sale.
it is housed in a replica sleeve of the album artwork which opens outward in a folder style.
it was manufactured by EMI Records Australia
the catalogue number is RP171.
