On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Tim Dawe called 'Penrod' and is a 1969 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Straight label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A UK 1ST PRESSING!!!! IN FACT, THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE RAREST (IF NOT THE RAREST) LPS EVER RELEASED ON THE UK STRAIGHT LABEL!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP HAS A STUNNING BARELY PLAYED RECORD, AND GREAT CONDITIONED COVER!!!! THIS IS THE 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS UK STRAIGHT LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD 'E.J.DAY' COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st pressing from 1969 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The Cat. No is STS 1058 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Straight label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!
The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 1 light NON sounding scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Gatefold Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has only VERY light edge wear, barely ANY spinal wear (ALL the side words are readable), only slight corner wear, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, NO grubbyness, only VERY slight yellowing, only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking), a small VERY easily missed sticker removal mark in the top right corner (NOT affecting any text or picture), and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, barely ANY rubbing, NO ringwear and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good+!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AS A UK 1ST PRESSING AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
