Jamie Stephen Hall found inspiration for As Blue As Indigo in colour theory - which suggests each human eye perceives colour subjectively – finding meaning and metaphor to view his own personal issues through a similar prism exploring personal topics including anxiety, depression, toxic masculinity, the death of his grandmother and the recent suicide of a close friend
Threading juxtaposition of the heavy, melodically brash as well as tender, and affectionate, the assured instrumentation unveils new characteristics of Tigercub, the title of this unmissable album hints at Jamie’s intense, enigmatic approach to lyrical themes that are ultimately an enormous part of what makes As Blue As Indigo such a powerful body of work.
