Low start!.....NO Reserve!.....NO high priced ‘Buy It Now’.
Earning their place in pop immortality with “Something in the Air”, this, their only album disappeared without trace, and now considered a neglected classic. The band that would become ‘Thunderclap Newman’ was formed in late 1968 at the instigation of the Who’s Pete Townshend who played bass with them. The 14-year old Jimmy McCulloch would go on to pay with ‘Wings’.
Sadly Jimmy McCulloch passed away in 1979, Speedy Keen in 2002 and Andy Newman in 2016. This LP is a reminder of a group that were more than ‘one hit wonders’.
This is a USA issue in a thick card unlaminated Gatefold Sleeve on the TRACK label.
Record is not mint, but excellent – no bad marks or scratches and plays fine.
Thick card sleeve is all good with slight edge wear – NO rips, splits or writing.
