5 records. 5 classics. Here it is, the original first pressing of the legendary 1982 THROBBING GRISTLE boxset. You are bidding on the very collectable 5x LP boxset which is, simply, entitled FIVE ALBUMS. This rarity contains the following E-S-S-E-N-T-I-A-L albums:
1. Second Annual Report (backward version) (mint sleeve / mint vinyl)
2. D.O.A. Third And Final Report (mint sleeve / mint vinyl)
3. 20 Jazz Funk Greats (mint sleeve / mint vinyl)
4. Heathen Earth (mint sleeve / mint vinyl)
5. Mission Of Dead Souls (mint sleeve / mint vinyl)
All five album sleeves and all five vinyl records are mint (superclean). Also the very informative 28-page booklet, is mint, featuring liner notes, discography, artwork and press clippings by John Savage. As you can see all the album sleeves are printed in black & white and were changed somewhat from the original designs. Making this boxset more collectable. Released on the British cult label ‘Fetish’ records in 1982 (catalogue number FX1). These recordings include all four original band members. Chris Carter on bass, and Cosey Fanni Tutti (Christine Newby) on guitar and cornet. The group also features the one & only Genesis P-Orridge (Neil Megson) vocalist and multi-instrumentalist and Peter Christopherson (R.I.P.), on keyboards, who was also a member of COIL and co-founded, with Genesis P-Orridge, PSYCHIC TV. Again, the booklet and the five records are mint. The heavy card box shows handling wear and mild rubbing as pictured. For that reason I'm grading this rarity:

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special LP record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
