VERY RARE WHITE LABEL TEST/DEMO PRESSING WITH FINISHED SLEEVE AND PROMO INSERT CARD.

Exceptionally rare white label pressing of this hard to find album.I should imagine that it was technically not a test pressing but an early promotional issue possibly given out to the company reps to show to dealers as a demonstration copy.The record has been supplied in the finished cover but without the inner sleeve.However there is a 12"x 12"promo card with the record listing the tracks and giving the release date of April 1977 plus a list of the promotional merchandise being used to  advertise the record.The record itself is in excellent condition with totally blank labels.Matrix numbers are YAX 5231-1 and YAX 5232-1.In addition the A side has "NICK W" stamped into the dead wax and the B side has "NIKICUT" also stamped into the runout dead wax.Both sides have the letter G stamped onto the runout deadwax indicating that this record came from the first stampers as you would expect from a promo/test pressing.The vinyl is a little dusty but in excellent condition with a small but very light surface scuff to the first track on the B side.Plays well throughout with just some occasional low level dust crackle.Graded as EX+.Cover in good condition with some light edge stress marks and a touch of ring wear just visible.Graded as EX-.The promo card is near mint and is not discoloured as it appears in the photo.Very rare item and I should imagine not too many copies of this were ever produced as white label copies and of great interest to all Beatles/Paul McCartney collectors.
