This week I have some of the very rarest Beatle's UK 7"s (more Rare Solid Centre Beatles singles than I've ever seen listed together before! Both the EMI AND The ORIOLE Solid Centre I Want To Hold Your Hand etc!), some of the rarest FREAKBEAT singles and PSYCH DEMOS (The Eyes, Mickey Finn, Linda Van Dyck, Stone Graphics etc etc etc.), plus Megarare Overseas Pressings Suck as The YARDBIRDS' Heart Full Of Soul German EP Original and the to my knowledge UNDOCUMENTED BEATLES' South Rhodesian Scroll Label/Tri Centre Ain't She Sweet with Sweet Georgia Brown on the B-side! Record Weight: 35.1g Conditions: Disc Visually: G+/VG- A grade that doesn't sound that promising, though the audio, as you can hear, isn't as damning as that! The reason I give this grade, is there's a feelable scratch across part of the A-side, though as this is at 90 dfegrees to the playing direction, at worst all this gives is a tick and only on some revolutions, other than that it's just a general covering of surface marks/hairlines. But I didn't even know this US Psych record was even released in the UK, I haven't seen it up for sale before! Disc Audibly: VG- A little crackly here and there. But judge for yourself. A rarely seen record on UK pressing! Musically some would say a little derivative, but others may say an interesting amalgam of various other sounds, the vocals of the A-side sound quite late period Zombies-esque, and the instrumental coda at the end sounds very much like the outro of "Good Morning, Good morning". The B-side has a west-coast styling on a kind of "South Kensington" Donovan. Quite an interesting slice of US Pysch. Labels: VG+ Nice clean, and quite crisp labels, free of writing/rips/stains etc. The three central prongs all hold perfectly sturdily.
