Thomas Frempong - "Aye Yi" / Highlife World, HW 2015, 1985
A VG+/VG Afropop LP. The sleeve has suffered from water damage and so has both rippling and slight darkening. Otherwise, some light creasing to the sleeve and rubbing to the edges. Solid, but no longer pretty. The labels are clean. The sides are glossy but marked, including a long and irregular scratch to the B. However, the record played through very, very cleanly with nothing more than very occasional under-the-mix static or mild noise. I'd unreservedly recommend it on the basis of its play, looks notwithstanding. Deadwax: ASR-2010-A HW 2015 A JA; ASR-2010-B HW 2015B. This is the first of two auctions (the next will probably go up in early January) in an ongoing culling from a New York deejay's hip-hop collection. Mostly white labels, acetates, and sealed oddites, ca. late '80s to mid-'90s. We're happy to combine shipping at the end of auction. Prompt payment would be greatly appreciated.

For the US, we usually prefer to ship everything USPS priority mail or first class with a delivery confirmation number. Priority mail offers average 2-3 days delivery of shipment. Other methods of shipping are available upon request. Postcards, photos, and flat items will be shipped priority mail for best service. We will ship worldwide. PLEASE NOTE:international buyers please be aware of currency exchanges and we will assess shipping rates accordingly. If there are specific exporting problems involving the item that you won, let us know about this ahead of time please. For international buyers any additional costs, such as tax or duties will be incurred by the customer.
