Description
Irish hard rockers Thin Lizzy released album number six in 1976. It came out and blew us all away at how good it was! The album showed the world that Thin Lizzy was a force to be reckoned with! It gave us the big hits "The Boys Are Back in Town", the title track, and "The Cowboy Song".
Artist Jim Fitzpatrick drew the artwork for the front and back covers. It's really cool, and is done in a cartoon-like style. Those of us that remember the 70s knew that this album was special! And in today's rockin' good deal, we have, up for grabs, a rare and EXTREMELY limited edition Japanese import picture disc of that rock and roll classic! It comes with a special backing card that lists the band's discography and singles (up to that point). Both the vinyl and backing card look new! The vinyl looks fantastic, and is still all shiny and clean! The card has no rips or tears on it, and no hand writing of any kind on it.
Released in 2006 as a promo only import, it celebrated the THIRTY year anniversary, but was never available as a commercial release. To own one of these, you just have to be in the right place, at the right time. (Which is why you're here now, right? Lol) And this has never been played by me since it's purchase, as I never play picture discs. But take it for a test spin, as today's picture discs usually sound really good!
For shipping, just select the standard Media Mail option, and I'll upgrade you to Priority Mail shipping, for free! I'll also insure this for the sale price, also for free! Free upgraded shipping, AND insurance? It just doesn't get any better than that!
