THE ZOMBIES The Zombies DECCA 7-inch EP Mono DFE 8598!
Original UK 7-inch EP single, with front laminated sleeve and back sleeve flip over edges, released in 1964, on the DECCA label.
Catalogue number: DFE 8598.
Sleeve: VERY GOOD CONDITION
Good solid sleeve in VERY GOOD condition but displays wear. Has some record sleeve ring wear on the front (laminate dulling) and back, some front sleeve laminate creases mainly on/near the sleeve’s corners outlining the record’s outer edge (crease impression on the back and sleeve slightly miss shaped on the top front sleeve left hand corner), some small but light foxing marks on the front sleeve top edge and some foxing/browning marks more evident on the back sleeve. There no rips/tears, no major edge wear (few edge dinks on the top edge ~ impressions only no laminate damage) and no seem splits.
Record: VERY GOOD CONDITION (*Plays VERY GOOD+)
Record labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition, clean appearance with no label damage, only a few faint small light spindle hole marks evident on both sides. Playing surfaces and matrix areas still retain a glossy sheen, some ultra-light, mainly fine line/hairline surface scuffs are visible when viewed and angled under a strong bright light and also a few smooth faint light, but slightly more prominent surface scuffs can be seen, these are evident on the A-side, two at 2 o’clock and two at 7 o’clock on the B-side. Surface scuffs/marks are lightly scattered, not excessive in quantity and there is nothing that adversely affects play. *Both sides play fine emitting mainly a good clean sound, some low level background surface noise is evident; however there are no loud or noticeable background crackles or clicks. *Track two on the B-side does emit some more background surface noise, and I would say that the surface noise is about medium and slightly more distinct then on the other tracks, however there is nothing noticeable on the surface of the actual track to suggest this.
