Description

Hi and welcome to my auction. All my auctions will start at 0,99£ with NO reserve, so grab a bargain. Please read everything carefully here, so you won’t miss anything. My seller feedback is 100% positive so you can bid with confidence. Grading a record is always very hard, as everyone got their own grading system. I always check my records under a critical light so there won’t be any surprises (many sellers don’t do this), so I will see even the lightest hairlines and sleeve lines which you won’t see in normal room light. I’m a collector myself, so I do my best to be honest with my grading. Please see my grading system in the bottom of this page. Thanks for reading everything and happy bidding!!!

What I have for sale here is:

Artist: The Wrigglers
Title: The Cooler b/w You Cannot Know
Label: Giant
Cat#: GN 26
Made in: England (1968)

Description: Extremely rare and one of the greatest reggae / ska singles from 1968…

Condition: Read carefully before bidding. Visually not so great. It has lots of sleeve lines on both sides, but NO deep scratches. I have played both sides and it plays through without JUMPS or SKIPS. However, the record is groved out for roughly 6 to 7 revolutions near the start and for 4 to 5 revolutions near the end on side A. Groved out means the music quality is totally obscured/lost during these revolutions and on appearance you can clearly see where the record is groved out. So visually in VG condition but for audio I will give GOOD only because of the problem mentioned above! Rest of the record plays VG / VG+ and B-side plays better than A-side. Grade GOOD mean: Good does not mean Bad! A record in Good condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear...

Grading (Record):
This is my grading system. I’m very strict when grading a record. Mostly my VG+ grade is most sellers EX. Please note that I will not sell anything below VG condition. Also, I don’t use VG+++ or EX+++++ like some sellers do…

NM (NEAR MINT)
This is highest grade that I will assign to opened, handled records. The vinyl is virtually flawless, bright and shiny. A very minor, barely visible scuff or two may be permitted, but no scratches. The disc should play with no audible noise. The label is bright, clean and unmarked.

EX (EXCELLENT)
Disc plays near perfectly, but may have minor paper scuffs that do not interfere with the sound quality. There can possibly be a few hairline scratches but nothing that is obvious or affects play. Vinyl is bright and shiny; label is clean and unmarked.

VG+ (VERY GOOD+)
Some visible surface wear, very minor scratches and scuffs, but minimal impact on the sound quality. Might have a light click or two, but NO skips or jumps. Vinyl will still have good luster; labels may have minor imperfections but otherwise clean.

Grading (Cover):

NM (NEAR MINT)
Very minor signs of wear or cover impressions. Artwork is as close to perfection as possible.

EX (EXCELLENT)
Minor disc impression or slight corner creases, no wrinkles, puckers, seam splits or writing on the cover. Artwork is clean and unworn and there is no ink wear.

VG+ (VERY GOOD+)
Cover is clean but may have minor writing or marks and may show slight wear. There may be just the start of ring wear, where the disc has created a raised area on the cover that resulted in the ink wearing off the paper. There may be slight discoloration or staining, minor seam wear, but no splits or tears. Corners may have small creases or fraying.

Payment by Paypal or bank transfer (IBAN).

If there are any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. Please see my other auctions for great records…
