I HAVE JUST BOUGHT ONE OF THE BEST COLLECTION OF PROMOS / DEMOS / ACETATES FROM A RETIRED RECORD COMPANY EXECUTIVE THAT WORKED IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY FROM THE LATE 1950'S TO THE MID 1970'S, THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING COLLECTION OF SINGLES I HAVE EVER SEEN AND I WILL BE LISTING IT OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS, THERE ARE MANY NEVER SEEN, OR RARELY SEEN PROG / PSYCH / FREAKBEAT / MOD / BEAT / DANCER / NORTHERN SOUL / ROCK 'N' ROLL / POPCORN / FOLK  DEMOS / PROMOS AND ACETATES !!! AND ALL IN AMAZING CONDITION.

WOW WHAT A FIND This is a DOUBLE SIDED I.B.C. STUDIOS ACETATE OF AN UNRELEASED VERSION MOD ANTHEM SINGLE by THE WHO from 1965, ORIGINAL UK ACETATE AND AN UNRELEASED VERSION  !!!
WHAT A FIND, this is an UNRELEASED IN THE UK VERSION of THE WHO second single from 1965, IT HAS A DIFFERENT B. SIDE TO THE UK RELEASE "ANY TIME YOU WANT ME" instead of the UK release B side which was "DADDY ROLLING STONE" !!! And also has a DIFFERENT TITLE to the A. SIDE "ANYHOW, ANWAY, ANYWHERE" (instead of the finished version which was titled "ANYWAY ANYHOW ANYWHERE") !!! I have also compared the tracks to the released versions and to my ears there are slight differences in the mix and the versions, but I can not confirm that for sure !!!
I was told by the industry person that this was suppose to be the UK RELEASE but at the last minute both the title and the B. side were changed !!! This B. side did appear as the B side to the band's US release of "anyway anyhow anywhere" in the end, a month after the UK release in June 1965 (UK release was May 1965) and even then the title was changed to "ANYTIME YOU WANT ME" !!!
The acetate also comes with the ORIGINAL BRUNSWICK company sleeve !!!

This copy came from a retired RECORD COMPANY EXECUTIVE (as mentioned above) !!!!!

The tracks are: ANYHOW, ANYWHERE, ANYWAY / ANY TIME YOU WANT ME.
The ACETATE was pressed at the I.B.C. SOUND RECORDING STUDIOS in LONDON.

The condition of the ACETATE is in VG/VG- condition (plays much better then most acetates of that age with only minor crackle, has a minor dink on one side which does not affect play, and only the non feelable scuffs which again do not affect play, I would grade the play as strong VG+ !!!) + ORIGINAL BRUNSWICK company sleeve !!!
