THE WHO Who Did It!, Track Records 2856001, UK 1971.
According to my Record Collector Guide this was a mail order LP and was withdrawn. Thus very rare! (Note there is a reserve price) The release date 1971 is as listed in Record Collector.
It is a compilation of tracks from 1966-67 (from "A Quick One" and "The Who Sell Out"), though the cover pics are of the 1971 era.
Vinyl plays well and sounds fine except for one scratch, on "Odorono". This causes a series of around 12 mostly soft clicks at the start of the song. Not too distracting. There are a few other small surface scratches/marks that don't sound. A little wear is audible mainly in quiet sections, but sound quality is very good. LP has certainly been played but retains a sheen. Spindle wear evident.
Labels fine except for residue of small round sticker on one (see photo), and a little light scoring from handling.
Laminated front cover has light rubbing wear, some creasing around all edges (see photo). Name in pen at bottom of Keith Moon pic. Back cover shows some rubbing wear, ringwear, and some creasing at front edge. Back cover is matt black which tends to show the wear quite clearly! (see photo) Edges and spine are intact, small worn area on spine to left of LP title. Pre-loved but still looks good!
