Product Description:
Record Store Day 2018 EU Exclusive 17-track superb 2 x LP on heavyweight 180-gram RED and BLUE coloured vinyl - features the seminal 1979 original soundtrack album to the Who movie The Kids Are Alright. The new reissue is an exact replica of the original album. Housed in the ‘film can’ liners and including the 20-page full colour 11.5? x 11.5? booklet with sleeve notes by Roy Carr, including his updates he made for the 2000 CD re-issue. The two discs and booklet are packed in the original top-loading sleeve which features Art Kane’s iconic cover shot of The Who photographed on the morning of April 5, 1968 at the Carl Schurz Monument located on 116th Street and Morningside Drive in Morningside Heights, New York City. Includes three performances from Woodstock – Sparks, Pinball Wizard & See Me, Feel Me, classic 1960s TV performances of Magic Bus and Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere, and the definitive performance of A Quick One, While He's Away, the version they played at the Rolling Stones' Rock & Roll Circus -- a performance so good that, according to legend, it's the reason why the Stones shelved the show for 20 years! *LONG OUT OF PRINT ON VINYL!*
