Description
I believe this is a first pressing of the Decca DL 4664 Mono 1966 vintage vinyl LP The WHO Sings My Generation. As shown in photos, it was Recorded in England, Producer Shel Talmy. It does NOT have "A Division of MCA" printed below the rainbow strip, which means it was produced in 1966.
All of the information I can find does make me think it is a first pressing, but feel free to ask questions if you know what to look for on the inner etching of the record.
It still has the shrink wrap on it, although the front lower corner of it came off when I opened the record in 1966 to play it. No ringwear. No problems with the cover. No scuffs, stains, etc. I took really good care of my records and I would haunt the local record store to find the latest releases from the UK.
No skips. Never exposed to smoke, perfume, or scent of any kind. I was a fanatic and never let anyone else touch my records or Beatles stuff. I loved the WHO and this album.
Sold AS IS only due to age, not condition. I haven't found any that look this new and have no problems in cover, liner or record.
Since I stopped listening to my albums over 40 years ago, it is time to let other collectors own them.
I will insure this record when it ships. Packed in album box with cardboard inserts on either side. Secure.
