With Ultra Rare Poster.
Here we have a really rare piece of who memorabilia. Not in great condition but still a good collectors piece. Perfect for first time collector or as a filler (a good one at that).
Unfortunately we have only a mix and match of the sleeve and record the sleeve does have EJ Day and the very rare sticker placed on the front. The back sticker is missing. The vinyl is still an original stereo pressing and so is worth quite a bit. This would be great if you could get a mono record and a stereo sleeve. I'm sure Ebay will get one from time to time. The poster is in acceptable condition but has a lot of wear but is intact and folds out strongly.
I bought this record around 10 years ago from Earwave's Record shop that used to be in Manchester's Corn Exchange. It suffered flooding when the IRA bombed it in 1996. The subsequent flooding devasted a lot of Alan's (Earwave's owner) Stock and most was dumped. There were of course a few gems that were worth saving. I bought from them along with this other gems such as The Beatles Let It Be Boxed Set and Rolling Stones Hologram Sleeve.
The water damage makes this record a Good+ as it does have some very prominent marks. I will now list the bad things and I also have a picture of some of the worst areas.
Record : seems flood damage free and is Very Good. It plays nice with only a few big pops. 95% of the record plays Very Good + with the beginning of side one suffering most.
Sleeve : still has one sticker on it's front side. I presume there were two as an eBay listing currently has two. There are quite a few creases in the laminate and slight discolouration to the bottom corners of the sleeve. This is due to flood damage. All in all it is in Good+ condition.
Poster : The poster is the real gem and was fortunately not too badly damaged it has water marks on the folding corners and they show when you fold the poster out. This is more on the back than the front. It has a rich deep colour and has only one minor tear in the top centre crease (about 10mm). The paper has discoloured with age but without the water damage this would be a Very good +. It is an original and has the printers text along the bottom, something the smaller reissue from 2 years back doesn't.
This really is a good opportunity to own what is fast becoming a harder and harder piece of sixties memorabilia to find. Good Luck bidding and any questions will be answered as best i can.
