On offer here is quite simply one of the RAREST LPs you will EVER see (especially in this condition!!!!) by Roger Daltrey (lead singer with The Who) called "Ride A Rock Horse" and is an ORIGINAL 1975 Acetate made nearly 2 months before this LP was eventually released!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!  IN FACT, IT IS QUITE SIMPLY COMPLETELY UNIQUE!!!!  AND INCREDIBLY, THIS ACETATE WAS MADE ON MAY 21ST 1975 - WHILST THIS LP WAS STILL BEING FINISHED!!!!  THE STICKER ON THE COVER FRONT TELLS YOU THIS (AS WELL AS THE LABELS - SEE PICTURES!) - AND IT ALSO SHOWS THAT THE TITLE FOR THE LP HADNT EVEN BEEN THOUGHT OF AT THIS POINT!!!!  THIS ACETATE WAS SPECIALLY MADE TO LISTEN TO THE TRACKS AFTER THEY HAD BEEN RECORDED!!!!  AT THE TIME (AS MENTIONED ABOVE) - NO TITLE HAD BEEN THOUGHT OF FOR THE LP, HENCE THERE IS NO TITLE ON THE LABELS OR COVER!!!!  THERE COULD EVEN BE MANY DIFFERENT MIXES & TRACK LENGTHS TOO - BUT UNFORTUNATELY I DO NOT HAVE A STOCK COPY TO CHECK THIS OUT (WHICH IS A REAL SHAME - AS I REALLY WISH I DID!)!!!!  BUT YOU SIMPLY CANT GET ANY EARLIER OR RARER THAN THIS - AS THIS ACETATE WAS MADE BEFORE THE LP WAS EVEN FINISHED (OR A TITLE HAS EVEN BEEN THOUGHT OF!)!!!! 

NOT ONLY THAT - BUT THIS ACETATE COMES WITH ITS ORIGINAL 'STICKERED' ACETATE COVER - SHOWING THIS ACETATE WAS MADE AT THE FAMOUS 'STERLING SOUND' STUDIOS!!!!  THE COVER IS CLEARLY ORIGINAL FROM THE DAY THIS ACETATE WAS MADE - AND SPECIALLY MADE FOR THIS ACETATE ONLY, WITH A 'STERLING SOUND' LABEL (WHICH MATCHES THE RECORD LABELS!) BEING ADDED ON THE COVER!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS AMAZINGLY RARE ACETATE HAS SURVIVED IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND IT IS DOUBTFUL IF IT HAS EVER BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! 

PLEASE ALSO NOTE - THAT THIS ACETATE IS 100% GENIUNE IN EVERY RESPECT (AND NOT SOME DODGY FAKE!), AND I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO GIVE A FULL GUARANTEE TO THIS EFFECT!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1975 ACETATE LP (FROM WAY BEFORE THE LP WAS EVEN FINISHED!) ON ULTRA RARE 'STERLING SOUND' ACETATE LABEL, ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE, AND ORIGINAL 'STICKERED' COVER!!!!  THIS ACETATE IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE (IT IS COMPLETELY UNIQUE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Acetate from 1975 and are in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  And of course GENIUNE Unfinished Acetates DONT have 'Cat Numbers' (as when these this acetate was made - a Cat Number hadnt been allocated yet!)!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and NO spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS ACETATE HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The acetate is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO scratches, NO flaking, NO cracking, NO hairlines, only 1 VERY light scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  The acetate also has very VERY light isolated 'oxidation' traces under light (NOT from any wear - simply from long term storage!) - which is typical of GENIUNE old acetates (this acetate is now 40 years old - some any from this era that are so say 'Mint' often are actually fakes, whereas this one is 100% GENIUNE in every respect!). THE ACETATE STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL SHINE AND LUSTER!!!!  It is also great to find that the acetate plays almost as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  PLEASE NOTE - it is VERY obvious that this acetate has NOT been cleaned in ANY way AT ALL and I have only played it through ONCE on the VERY lightest possible needle setting to avoid ANY damage!!!!  It plays with NO skips, NO sticking, NO jumps, only a few light clicks, and NO hiss AT ALL!!!!  There is (as is usual with acetates!) some crackle on playback - and I dont know if it possible to clean acetates at all (perhaps one of those professional record cleaning machines would be usefull here?), but if it is - no doubt this crackling would certainly be lessened, and may even completely disappear!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The acetate must visually grade Very Good++++ if not better (with the playing as described) - though in acetate terms from the mid 1970s this really is as good as you will find, as acetates from this period virtually NEVER turn up in better condition than this (unless they are dodgy fakes)!!!!  A BRILLIANT ACETATE!!!!  Believe me this acetate is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The acetate also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL Sterling Sound 'Stickered' Cover (specially made for this acetate ONLY!) is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO splits, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO ringwear, NO rubbing, some staining along the top, NO sticker marks, NO yellowing, a VERY thin residue trace along the top edge, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the back of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO grubbyness, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, some staining towards the very top, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good(Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - though without the staining it would obviously grade FAR higher!!!!  THIS ACETATE IS QUITE SIMPLY AN AMAZING RARITY AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE (IT IS UNIQUE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
