HERE IS THE RARE "GATHER YOUR WITS" VINYL L.P. THE WHO RECORDED LIVE PERFORMING TOMMY IN 1970, ALTHOUGH THE JURY IS OUT AS TO WHERE THIS GIG WAS ACTUALLY RECORDED
PLEASE CHECK ALL PHOTOS FOR CONDITION.
THE SLEEVE IS IN THE CONDITION INDICATED IN THE PHOTOGRAPHS.
THERE ARE VERY FEW SIGNS OF PLAY AND THE VINYL
IS VG+. CHECK THE WRITING IN MARKER PEN ON SLEEVE PRIOR TO PLACING A BID - THANKS.
AS I HAVE DATA FORMAT, I HAVE NEVER ACTUALLY PLAYED ANY OF MY COLLECTION.

Comments: Ed Hanel's The Who The Illustrated Discography as well as Hot Wacks list this one as Live at Dallas Memorial Stadium, September 1969. The Who did not play Dallas that month. More than likely, this is from June 19, 1970. Throughout the entire show there’s a lot of audible audience chatter, sometimes over the band! However, the group sound like they put on a good show. It's a shame we can't hear it better. The last four tracks on side 4 are studio tracks and presumed to be soundboard recordings. Apparently there are different pressings that delete the first four tracks of side 1 and the last four tracks (side 4) Some also came with a picture cover.
