On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Who called "Quadrophenia" and is an ORIGINAL 1973 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Track labels!!!!  THIS LP IS EXTREMELY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AS A GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING!!!!  THIS LP WAS PRESSED THROUGHOUT THE 1970s AND THEREFORE IT MAKES IT VITAL TO ESTABLISH A GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING.  I WILL EXPLAIN THE 1ST PRESS DETAILS BELOW:

FIRSTLY THIS LP HAS FLAT 'MATT' TRACK LABELS WITH NO RIDGE RUNNING AROUND THE EDGE OF LABELS (LATER PRESSINGS FROM 1974 ONWARDS HAVE A THICK RIDGE AROUND THE EDGE OF THE LABELS, AND MUCH LATER PRESSINGS FROM 1975 ONWARDS HAVE 'SHINY' TRACK LABELS ASWELL).  THESE LABELS HAVE EXACTLY THE SAME DEEP BLACK COLOUR AND FEEL AS ANY 1960s TRACK LABEL (LATER PRESSINGS AS STATED ABOVE DO NOT).  SECONDLY THE VINYL IS THICK, QUALITY AND 'SQUARED EDGED' (LATER PRESSINGS ARE MUCH THINNER AND HAVE THINNER CHEAPER EDGES TO THE VINYL).  AND LASTLY THE MATRIXES ARE THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE - BEING A//1 B//1 A//1 & B//2 (THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS MATRIXES)!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS DOUBLE LP IS IN SUPERB CONDITION OVERALL (WITH ONE VERY MINOR EXCEPTION ON 1 RECORD) - AND IT IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND A GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING IN THIS SORT OF CONDITION!!!!  THIS IS THE 1973 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS FLAT 'MATT' TRACK LABELS, 1ST PRESS MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVES, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER WITH 'STAPLED IN' 22 PAGE BOOKLET!!!! THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS SUPERB CONDITION AS A GENIUNE 1973 1ST PRESSING - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the original Track UK 1st pressing from 1973 and is in SUPERB condition overall!!!! The Cat. No is 2657 013 on the 1st Press 'Matt' Track Labels (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Who at their best!!!! Any fan of The Who, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels on BOTH records are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THESE RECORDS HAVE BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in SUPERB condition (with one VERY minor exception)!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and Record 1 has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  Record 1 must grade MINT(Minus)!!!!  AWESOME RECORD!!!! Record 2 has NO scratches, 1 TINY hairline right at the VERY edge of the record on one side, NO other hairlines, and only a VERY few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  Record 2 must STRICTLY grade Very Good++++ if not better (though basically it is a MINT(Minus) record apart from the 1 TINY hairline)!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  BOTH RECORDS STILL RETAIN THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOK SUPERB!!!!  It is great to find that the records play as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, only a very VERY few clicks (these dont last long AT ALL) right at the VERY beginning of the first track on Side 3 (from the TINY hairline mentioned above), NO clicks elsewhere on ANY of the sides, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! Overall the records must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent (individual gradings mentioned above)!!!! Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The records also come in their ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeves!!!!  The 1st Press Gatefold Cover with 'Stapled-in' 22 Page Booklet is in SUPERB condition!!!! The Cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is AMAZINGLY flat looking), barely ANY rubbing AT ALL (virtually NONE), NO ringwear, and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in SUPERB condition with NO wear, NO grubbyness, NO writing, and NO yellowing!!!! The 'Stapled-in' 22 Page Booklet is in STUNNING condition with NO creases, NO ripped pages, NO grubbyness, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!! STUNNING COVER!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AS A GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING, AND RARER STILL TO FIND IN THIS SUPERB CONDITION -  SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
