Description
What a treasure my partner has brought up from his place. We are moving in together so having to sell loads of stuff so that there is room for us!
This is a limited edition box set of 9 LPs called 'Phases'by the who. Anyone interested in this probably already knows which LPs it includes, but if you are unsure, i will email u all of the list.
My favourite of the albums is 'Live at Leeds' because it has lots of photocopies of documents including a contract to perform, a rejection letter from EMI records and a threat to take them to the County Court! Plus a black and white poster and photo. All in mint condition still in original file and fits neatly into the right hand side of the album cover.
The Tommy double album is still sealed.
All the others (except 1) are unused and in their original inner and outer sleeves. All of them fit neatly into a hard, plain, white cardboard box which then goes into the phases box sleeve. All of it is then in a proper brown cardboard box to keep it all neat and clean.
The only damage is to the rear sleeve of the 'Quadrophenia' album, which I have photographed.It is fair to say that this is the only album which has been played out of the whole lot and has light scratches on it. - His son apparently fell in love with it when first bought, hence the usage.
As one of the albums have been used, we have decided to bring down the start price to an amazing £50.00! No reserve!!!
I have put the set down as collection only as ebay have stated that i can only put a maximum of £4.00 postage and i think it would cost more to post. however, don't let that put you off as i'm sure we can come to some agreement to post if you win. just e-mail me in advance if you are interested but need it posted
