Description
On offer a copy of the Who's first album 'My Generation' on UK Brunswick. An original mid 60s press with the 1B / 1B matrices, the sleeve is VG - on the front some light corner creasing and at the middle top a noticeable scuff (see pic). In the 2nd pic you should see some black 'staining' below Keith and next to Roger - this is actually UNDER the laminate so a rarely seen printing fault / bleed as it came from the pressing plant. The spine is fine with fully readable text. On the back there are a few light stains and some brown spotting - mostly below the large 'My Generation' title and above the track list. No writing, lots of these sleeves - like the first Small Faces - attracted people to write their name (and other things) on! Actually the top and bottom borders are a little browner than the pics suggest. Aside from the top middle scuff the sleeve has no tears.
Vinyl wise the record is nice and glossy and visually - and audibly - appears to have seen little use. There are 4 or 5 noticeable faint hairlines on both sides, and across most of tracks 3 and 4 on side 2 there is a slightly thicker mark. None of these create any sound at all, in fact bar 3 pops between the end of 'I'm A Man' and the start of 'A Legal Matter' the audio on this album is wonderful indeed - no distortion from previous heavy pick ups etc. Lovely playback! Without the aforementioned few hairlines the vinyl would be EX or probably better. Comes with original inner sleeve.
Labels are clean and free of writing though there is faint spindle marking.
Overseas welcome though must be sent signed for or tracked, please wait for invoice if purchasing.
