THE WHO: "My Generation" LP. UK FIRST PRESSING ON THE 'VIRGIN' LABEL 1979, MASTERED FROM THE 1965
MASTER TAPES, THIS IS THE ORIGINAL SHEL TALMY MONO MIX.
This is part of my Dads collection and it's hard to part with but can't store them any longer. This has only been played couple of times, has no scratches on vinyl as my Dad clean vinyl before he played it and cleaned it after he was so protective over his vinyl collection

A very first pressing, originally issued in late 1979, but failed to sell, basically the initial covers had a laminated front
and in early 1980 the front covers had a shiny top surface, not far behind lamination but I differentiate between the
two issues. Like all unsold vinyl only a matter of weeks later, the same late 1979 records were placed inside these
non laminated covers, I will stress they were the same records because I have sold many in laminated covers that
had higher end digits. This record proves that by being the actual stating point of CBS pressing, as usual, I have taken
close up pictures of the maitrix on both sides, like all CBS records, located at 12 0'clock in the run-out grooves.
ONLY THE FIRST PRESSINGS HAVE GEORGE PECKHAM'S FAMOUS LOGO SCRIBED IN THE RUN-OUT GROOVES
AND THEY ARE RARE WITH THIS;
