This is a US pressing with heavy vinyl and thick card sleeve.
The vinyl is visually graded in excellent minus condition. Please see below a description of grades and note that this vinyl is 45 years old that has been played and will not transform into anything different to the condition stated.
The white Decca labels are in excellent condition with facsimile handwriting, said to be Pete Townsend's, with the notorious additional note "CRACKLING NOISES O.K. DO NOT CORRECT". These relates to the noise caused during the live recording from the bass of John Entwistle which is clearly heard in the record.
The gatefold thick cardboard sleeve (see how stands in the photo) is in excellent condition with ring, edge and corner wear. The spine is complete with some storage feathering and without any splits.
This listing contain 8 inserts which are in excellent condition are: Pete Townsend Isle of Wight laminated Photo, Premier Talent Woodstock Booking, EMI records indecission letter, Marquee Club Box office summary, Kings Agency Locarno ballroom Swindon cancellation letter, My Generation typed lyrics (this one is missing bottom right corner), The High Numbers payment slip and Notice before proceedings.

Visually-graded vinyl: A visual grading will identify physical flaws (such as scratches) and can help determine whether a record has been cared-for properly. A visual grading will not identify noise or crackle caused by non-visible sources. Most of the records I sell are between thirty and fifty years old and so it is likely that there may be some background noise even if they look perfect. Unless specified all my vinyl is visually graded.

I am not a dealer but an amateur collector selling duplicated items or records that I no longer want to keep (mostly due to space). I do not clean records (other than a dust with anti-static) and unless indicated in the listing the records have been only visually inspected.
To show your record has arrived safely and you are happy, please leave feedback and I will reciprocate.
I offer reduced postage rates for combined multiple purchases. Usually I post on Thursdays or Saturdays.
Items are not insured and I will not be responsible for items lost or damaged in the post. All items are properly packaged and I always obtain proof of postage. Should you want to insure the item by registered post, please let me know and I will find out the additional cost. Please note that, whilst it it comparatively rare for items to be lost or damaged in the post , my part of the transaction contract is legally completed as soon as the item is in the hands of the Post Office. I will not, therefore, accept responsibility for any loss or damage by the Postal Services. Whilst I am happy to provide help and advice, all such claims remain the responsibility of and must be made by the buyer.
If the bidding exceeds £39, in the UK the item will be ONLY sent insured by special recorded next day guaranteed delivery post (insured up to a value of £500) at a cost of £7. The above P&P quoted is for UK only and the same principal on insurance will apply to international bidders who will need to pay £5.7 insurance in addition to the p&p.
I am happy dealing with international bidders but only accept PayPal and please contact for p&p costs.
