MEGA RARE! THE WHO LIVE AT LEEDS COMPLETE! 1st UK PRESS BLACK LETTERING EX/EX+
Welcome to my listings.To all overseas bidders Please read before bidding. I will not falsify any information when sending custom declarations. I will indicate the true value of any item that has been sold. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay the correct custom duty on any winning item.
No exceptions will be made.
All items are packed and dispatched in heavy duty LP mailers with cardboard reinforcements. I use heavy duty packaging tape. I always separate the LP from the sleeve and any inner sleeves that are part of the LP. This stops any damage to the item while in transit.
THE WHO: Live At Leeds A superb conditioned MEGA Rare and becoming very hard to find which virtually never turns up for sale Genuine Original 1970 UK First Edition 6-track LP with A1/B1 matrices, recorded live at Leeds University on February 14th 1970, housed in the original gatefold 'bootleg' style stapled pocket textured brown card gatefold sleeve with the rarer BLACK text on the front which is still bold and vivid comes complete with all twelve Original inserts including poster, photos & repro band letters, receipts & lyrics.
MEGA Rare! Complete! Genuine 1st UK press vinyl LP on TrackPolydor records (one of only 300 original 1st uk pressings with the original BLACK LETTERING not red or blue as on all subsequent pressings with inserts...Not to be confused with later repressings which were Red or Blue on subsequent pressings).

PLAY GRADED:
Equipment used to test this LP was my Townshend Rock II turntable positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform, with a Linn Ittok modified arm and Audio Technica VM95ML Shibata modified cartridge feeding through a Trilogy 906 phono stage positioned on a Townshend Seismic Sink. Amplification is a Lavardin IS amp positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform. Speakers are bi-wired Nordost Blue Heaven Rev II Speaker Cable Impluse H6's positioned on Townshend Seismic Isolation Bars.
Both sides played through with very low surface noise across all tracks. The LP played through perfectly even side 2 track 1 with the mentioned surface mark. There were no loud pops, there were no jumps or skips. Please note that this is a used item and there is always isolated static, ticks, light pops that maybe or can be heard, even in the quieter places during the play of any vinyl. There will be elements of surface noise. Please remember that this is an Original 53 year old LP.
I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable/system - Cartridge and stylus profile, tracking weight, Arm VTA, arm type all go to make a difference to the sound and performance of any LP/single being played.
THE COVER: The gatefold pocket cover shows just very light minimal wear to the top and bottom edges, the spine has also just very light wear with no creasing. The covers surface has virtually no visual storage scuffing. All corners have storage rounding and have just again very light wear. The stapled pockets have no damage with the staples showing no rust or having come away fome the cover. The opening edge remains clean but has the beginnings of very light feathering. Otherwise there are no signs of any other forms of damage. I have graded the cover in EXCELLENT++ condition. In superb condition considering that it is
THE BACK COVER: The back cover reflects the front and reveals no damage at all. There is light creasing to the back cover. I have graded the back cover again in EXCELLENT++ condition.
THE INSERTS: All the correct inserts have been graded in EXCELLENT condition showing no damage.
THE VINYL: Both sides of this vinyl LP still retains all of its original lustre and sheen with no dulling and in daylight looks awesome. Even when placed under a 100w bulb there are VIRTUALLY NO hairlines marks to both sides. Side 2 has a visable suface mark when held to a bright light source to the first track which can not be felt. There are no other deep scratches which can be seen or felt. I have graded the vinyl because of the surface mark in EXCELLENT++ condition. I have conservatively graded but the vinyl visually is in superb near as new condition you could get plus being 53 years old.

THE LABELS: The labels are in MINT condition with no spindle marks. There is no wear around the central spindle hole.
