A fabulous original UK mono vinyl copy of A Quick One by The Who on Reaction (593 002) from 1966.
This particular copy is also a magnificent piece of history, being among the absolute earliest batch to have left the factory - the matrices are A//1 1 and B//1 1 1 111. All those ones almost warrant an exclamation mark!
The first press vinyl is in EX condition with only the lightest of surface marks to be seen when critically examined under strong lighting. The lovely textured blue Reaction labels look lovely with just one small mark(?) on side two (see photos) and spindle marks denoting moderate but careful play over the years. This lovely thick slab of flat edge vinyl plays beautifully, with fabulous clarity and stereo separation, all the way through, both sides, with no skips or jumps.
The first press fully laminated single sleeve is in strong EX- condition with just some light creasing and laminate lift but no unwanted writing, no sticker damage and no rips or tears or indeed anything untoward. All this is another rarity in itself - original sleeves for A Quick One are notoriously difficult to obtain in anything approaching keeper condition.
Good luck if you are bidding. I carefully package all rare vinyl with the disc removed from the sleeve to eliminate 'knifing' during transit.
