MEGA RARE!! LP. 1966 Original UK.
Very earliest FIRST PRESSING!! MONO!!
Up for auction is this RARE second offering LP from the WHO in its RARE MONO format. A hard album to find in anything approaching decent condition. This one is far better than most I have seen.
COVER: VG++. Laminated back and front. Spine is totally intact. No laminate missing. No rips. No writing. No stains. Just light laminate wrinkle here and there. Opening is clean and flat. No feathering. Nice and glossy finish.
VINYL: Still retains its just pressed glossy sheen and is perfectly flat with no warps, skips or jumps. The surfaces do show some light stylus touches. Nothing deep or feelable. Side two track four has a clutch of what could only be described as fingernail scuffs. However, none of these anomalies affect the amazing thumping MONO playback.
LABELS: EX++. Original dark blue Reaction. No writing or any other distractions. Lovely and clean. Nice clean undamaged spindle hole. Just a few spindle trails. Beautiful.

STAMPERS: SIDE ONE: 1 i 4
SIDE TWO: 1 2 1 - making this one of the very earliest FIRST Pressings.
INNER SLEEVE: Plain white, die-cut centre one side. EX.
AUDIO: Despite my honest comments above as mentioned under Vinyl, this album plays with stunning and remarkable thumping MONO sounds. You have got to hear it to believe it. If you are looking for an archive example, then buy a cd. This is for playing and trust me, you will be amazed at the quality of the playback.
To sum up. This album is definitely a MUST HAVE ALBUM of very collectable quality, and would certainly be a great addition to any existing collection. The sounds are superb and truly classic. This rare album does not surface very often, so don’t miss out. Grab yourself a large slice of great musical history - and enjoy!!
