Description

 

"The Beatles" aka, "The White Album" 1968 double UK/LP 1st pressing in glorious MONO!!  Numbered pressing - No. 0291046 complete with large poster/lyrics, glossy pictures of ALL four and the original black inner sleeves.  Top loading gatefold jacket, records pressed on heavy vinyl with dark green colour Apple labels and embossed KTJ Tax Code.  

 

A very collectable Beatles UK 1st pressing offered here with NO RESERVE so have FUN bidding!!

RECORD CONDITION (visual only)

Both records are shiny with a glossy luster - superficial hairline whisps on all sides as well as light scuffing - a few very light surface scratches with only one feelable (7mm) scratch that produces light ticks.  Labels are spotless - no writing - no sticker marks - minor spindle wear only.  Both records were handled with care and not abused.

 

RECORD CONDITION (sonically)

I just played the entire record through and it sounds AWESOME!!  No skips - no sticks - aside from the tiny scratch, both records play beautifully - very quiet during softer passages with minimal background noise and unwanted sounds - it's a solid player and still retains the wonderful, crisp, clean mono sound!!

 

JACKET CONDITION

Top opening jacket has normal wear and is in very good shape.  Surfaces are clean inside and out - no writing - no sticker marks.  Slight yellowing with corner and edge wear.  Laminated jacket is fully intact except on the outer spine where there is roughness and slight peeling to the laminate.  Still a very acceptable jacket considering the age. 

 

Well there you have it...a complete UK original, not a mint copy but it is still VERY enjoyable and it will surely make you sing out loud and tap your feet!!  You will be very happy with its condition.
