The WHIRLWINDS were an obscure Beat band, making RnB and Garage pop rock in a vital British style. They had among their members Lol Creme, who composed the cool flip side of this rare single.
Some time later 'The Mockingbirds' disbanded, and with a couple of 45s as 'Hotlegs' in between, there came the brilliant '10cc' - a group that are still underrated (in my opinion) despite several chart successes!!
The WHIRLWINDS cool garage pop was well produced and sounds strong, but still no sales success - the Swinging 60s were an astonishing period for the most imaginative music and fashion, but so many great bands made records that slipped through the cracks!

This is an excellent player, and looks practically as new.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT, plays and sounds great. Just a tiny crackle in the intro, only.
This has clearly been looked after well, there's little sign of having been played in 60 years.
HMV Lables are NEAR MINT.
