As we grade the cover and record separately, we do not use the Goldmine grading system as we feel it leaves too much room for misinterpretation. Please read our grading system index carefully, as our grades tend to be more critical to detail, and what other sellers interpret as excellent may be one or two grades lower with our system.
We aim to give you a frank and honest appraisal of the record and cover condition, so we do not grade higher than Excellent as we feel that unlike CD's, no record can ever be truly be called perfect.
All records are removed from the paper sleeve for safe transport prior to shipping.
Please note that our records have been in storage and unplayed for many years, so most would probably benefit from a clean.

VERY GOOD (vg) The record has obviously been played many times with minor signs of spindle wear, it plays well despite significant marks and/or minor scratches. There are no personal inscriptions on the label. There may be minor warping. The cover or inserts are in good condition, but may have minor marks.

FAIR (fr) The record is just about playable but will have deep scratches, clicks can be heard when playing, it may even jump. There may be some personal inscription on the label.
