Description
When the single Walk-Don't Run hit the charts, it shot up to #2, and quite rapidly. Bob Reisdorf, of Dolton Records, got the boys in the studio to record enough additional tunes to create an LP, and get them out on the road for appearances. In the scramble, he forgot to do a photo shoot for the front cover, which needed to be in color, so he got some Dolton employees to pose for the pic you see on the front. For the back, they used one of the B&W promo shots they already had. No one was sure who the real Ventures were! These rare originals with the real band PHOTO on the back cover are very rare! These originals which caused all the confusion led to the originals being withdrawn from public circulation and back covers replaced by a drawing sketch on the reissues.
