Description

In 1967, art rockers The Velvet Underground released their debut album. The official title was 'The Velvet Underground and Nico', and featured art from Andy Warhol. It was a picture of a banana painted by him, with early copies having that banana as a peel-off sticker, with a peach colored raw banana underneath. The band became one of the most influential forces in art rock, and underground, new wave, and punk music. Sterling Morrison, Lou Reed, and Nico have all passed away, leaving only John Cale and Maureen Tucker as the sole survivors.

Today we have up for grabs a picture disc of that rock classic! It comes in its original heavy plastic sleeve, which was never sealed. This was bought new, by me, and never opened, handled, or played. The record looks all shiny and clean! A great vinyl picture disc to own, in tribute to a great rock classic, and at a nice price!
