Description
The Velvet Underground & Nico MONO West coast pressing because of the Side A Side B instead of side 1 and 2. The vinyl has several light lines and marks, looks G+ but plays solid VG with loud punchy mono sound. The vinyl doesn't look pretty, but this thing rocks! I was able to compare this to an East coast mono pressing, and I noticed the West coast has a louder punchier sound. Very enjoyable pressing with some background noise in between tracks and quieter segments that do not ruin the listening experience.
The thick gatefold cover in VG+, really nice white gloss and solid seams with the exception of a corner starting to come undone (see photos). The banana is half peeled, the remaining banana is in great shape. This is the first state cover featuring Eric Emerson who was later airbrushed out of later pressings.
