COVER - MINT (M) Original full and uncensored "first state" version of the legendary iconic gatefold cover with classic Andy Warhol's banana art sticker. The cover has an Eric Emerson's lawsuit threat black 'Velvet Underground & Nico Produced By Andy Warhol' large banner sticker affixed to the back cover. Both the banana sticker and black lawsuit threat banner sticker are in great shape, having some light signs of wear and scuffing. The cover is still in its original Verve Records shrink (cellophane) wrap. The shrink is fully intact with the original breathe holes. It is extremely hard to find a copy in such a brilliant condition.
ANDY WARHOL'S BANANA ART STICKER - MINT (M) The sticker is in great condition, absolutely intact without any damage or tears, retaining its beautiful saturated yellow color.
LAWSUIT BLACK "VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO PRODUCED BY ANDY WARHOL" LARGE BANNER STICKER - MINT Saturated black (noir) sticker is in great condition. Usually, these stickers have a severe ring wear and scuffs, but this one doesn't, retaining its deep rich color under the shrinkwrap. Neither it has any wrinkles, which can be commonly seen on this sticker.
LABEL - EXCELLENT (EX) Original Verve Records V5008 catalog number mono original ultra blue Verve labels with the large T-shaped logo and silver print. Unique 2.25' diameter deep groove pressing ring label. Misprinted timing the 'I'll be Your Mirror' 2:01 instead of 2:10 and 'Black Angel's Death Song' 3:01 instead of 3:10 on the label.
VINYL - VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) ~ EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) Thick, heavy vinyl pressing with the first matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl (dead wax)
