THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO ~ Psych ~ Andy Warhol MONO TORSO  ~ UNPEELED !!

1967/USA/Verve Records V-5008….. here’s an Original Mono First pressing of this rare lp. The thick gatefold cover is in solid condition with some defects and writing due to being a radio station copy. Remarkably the Banana is near perfect and unpeeled and the spine is square and perfectly legible. The thick gatefold cover has some old tape and tape stains lower left corner, there is a small surface tear there as well(see picture 5), otherwise the front is solid with some light shelf soiling, the back has tape and tape residue lower right corner but no surface tears, as you can see from the pictures provided there is writing in black marker on both sides and small writing in pen top right corner on the back cover, the torso photo on the back cover is clean and sharp, the back cover has some very light shelf soiling, top 4" seam split at opening, the spine is near perfect and the cover looks great, inner gatefold cover is clean and white with a small stain bottom center, and there is no delete. The vinyl is in shiny VG++ condition with a few light inaudible hairlines and small scuffs. The record looks clean  and plays with light occasional light noise/crackle and during the whole lp I noticed maybe a handful of light ticks. The record plays with clean fidelity. Side one label has a sticker, otherwise the labels are clean. Comes with the original Verve inner sleeve which shows some aging and one corner crease and no splits. I'm also including a folded relica poster with The Velvets live. The poster measures 21.5" x 15" and has no rips or tears and is solid and clean. A nice copy of this very rare lp! Don't miss it! Please check my listings for other rock, garage and psych lp’s. GRADING

MINT: I consider only New Unplayed or Sealed items.

M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.

EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have a few minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.

VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
