Description
Up for auction is the ultra rare original first pressing of The Velvet Underground & Nico Andy Warhol vinyl album with banana peel mostly intact.
Outer album sleeve: Outer sleeve is in somewhat rough condition with visible shelf wear, a small split at the bottom, a split at the top opening. Banana peel has been peeled but never fully removed, missing stem, upper portion torn through. Back image features the torso of actor Eric Emerson, later copies do not have his image on the back.
Inner album sleeve: inner sleeve is in decent condition with a slit on the bottom and a slit on one side.
Vinyl: the record itself is in decent condition. Has some surface scuffing, plays through without skipping. Audio is decent with some static and audio pops here and there.
