Description

The Velvet Underground & Nico 1967 Verve Stereo Black Lawsuit Sticker

Very rare West Coast Deep Groove copy, which is significantly harder to find than its east coast counterpart. Near Mint Minus cover in the original baggy, which was stored separately from the vinyl, with an unpeeled Andy Warhol's banana sticker in Near Mint condition with only some light age scuffing. The back of the sleeve has a large black lawsuit "The Velvet Underground & Nico Produced by Andy Warhol" sticker, which also has only a few light scuffs. It's practically impossible to find a copy with the cover in such a great condition. Original Verve paper inner sleeve. 1st print Verve Deep Groove misprint labels. The West Coast labels, unlike the east coast ones, have two misprints on Side 2. The timing for "I'll Be Your Mirror" and "Black Angel's Death Song" is indicated as 2:01 and 3:01, as oppose to the correct one, 2:10 and 3:10. The vinyl is somewhere between Strong Very Good and Very Good Plus with some light surface hairlines, marks and scuffs, which can't be felt with a finger nail. The vinyl sounds nice overall with some light background noise. The only light click that I could notice occurs for several seconds at the very end of "Sunday Morning." The labels are in Excellent condition.
