THE VELVET UNDERGROUND And Nico LP 1967 UK 1st Mono Press!!! VERY RARE VG+/VG+.
This is an exceptionally rare original UK copy of the classic Velvet Underground LP in Mono. I have been unable to find another similar copy for sale anywhere at the moment which goes to show the rarity of this version.
The vinyl is in pretty nice used condition. It does have lots of very minor scuffs and hairlines, etc. I have played it through on both sides and it plays without any skips or jumps. It has 1 or 2 light pops and some crackle in some of the quieter passages it graded as VG to VG+ and will be better again if cleaned. Matrix endings are: A2/B2 and has the misprinted label on side 2.
The labels are clean and gave a few spindle marks as to be expected. Black and silver verve labels.
It comes in original sleeve (before the Warhol “banana” cover) which grades as VG+ with very minor wear.
