Description
This is a one of a kind super rare autographed debut album by the teardrop explodes titled "Kilimanjaro". This copy is the Richmond pressing released Oct 10 1980. The English post punk neo psychedelic band formed by Julian Cope in Liverpool in 1978 and disbanded in 1983. Ultimately the band is said to have broken up due to Julian Copes eccentric and self destructive behaviour. Julian Cope went on to have a successful solo career. I can't identify all of the signatures. There seems to be six. I can clearly see Gary Dwyer, Troy Tate (smith's producer), Jeff Hammer, and Julian Cope on the back. The others may be David Balfe and Alfie Agius. Some autographs are to the former owner named Jeff. This album is in exceptional condition. It was always stored in a protective sleeve. The record originally came in a high quality plastic lined sleeve that kept it from paper sleeve friction marks. The record is in perfect condition. When I pulled it out I wasn't going to clean it, it was just that perfect. The sleeve is in near perfect condition with minor corner and edge wear. The sleeve has been placed in a new clear protective sleeve. The record is in unplayed perfect condition (M-). The record has been placed in a new archival rice paper sleeve. All items have been inspected cleaned detailed photographed and graded when possible. This item ships in a large record mailer carefully packaged.
