This is a "Test Pressing" for the song 8th Wonder by The Sugarhill Gang, pressed by The Best Way Group. I'm not sure how many of these exist but typically only a very small number of test pressings are run for the sole purpose of giving record label decision makers (i.e. Producer, Band Members, and Executives) an idea of how the run of vinyl will sound (i.e. this is a very rare item that was not intended of sale to the public). Vinyl condition VG++, jacket condition VG (This is just a generic Sugar Hill Records Jacket, there is no offical jacket for this album as it is a test pressing).
Test pressing are generally made, to test the quality of a record and sometimes are given as advanced promos to radio d.j. and the press for reviews in advance of the commercial release. A test pressing is a real collector's item. They usually come in a blank sleeve with a blank label & sometimes with a photocopied sheet w/ track list & details or maybe a photo. Generally the sound quality is better than a commercially issued pressing, because test pressing are made more carefully and in smaller numbers.
