Passed down from a contact a Rough Trade this is a one off chance to own what is probably one of the rarest Strokes records you will ever come across. This is the UK white label double thickness acetate test pressing of the full album‘Room On Fire’. The weight of this one is exceptional and the edges are straight flat cut, not rounded like a production record. I was given a very small handful of these years ago by somebody at Rough Trade (UK). Most of those have now been sold off privately to serious collectors/investors, however I have decided to offer up one or two more on eBay. They are the only test press copies that were ever made of this album. The record comes in a plain white paper sleeve with factory labels sticky-taped to the outside. A very rare record and sound investment grade vinyl from a very sought after band. This record has never been played and is in excellent condition.

Over the coming year or two I will be selling a large portion of my massive record collection. And it will all be on beautiful vinyl! I have been a fastidious collector and all my vinyl will either be in mint unplayed condition or very close. All records have been professionally stored upright in a clean non smoking environment. Individual descriptions will be given with each record listed. Most of my collection up for sale will be UK & U.S. 1st pressings (with some very cool rare & obscure Oz rarities thrown in too). Music will consist mainly of rare Punk, Rock, Indie/Alternative, with some rare Folk, Psych, Blues & Prog too. There will be hundreds of 1st pressings, test pressings, promos, signed records and probably a bit of rare memorabilia (if I can part with it!) I am making it as cheap as absolutely possible. In the interests of keeping a level playing field & due to these outrageous Australian Mail postage charges I will in fact be ending up significantly out of pocket from what I charge you, even more so once packaging is factored in. Please rest assured I will not compromise on quality packaging so there will be no damage to your record(s) during shipment. Shipping costs will be combined for multiple purchases making it cheaper. All records that are not factory sealed will be shipped with record(s) & inner sleeve packaged outside of the outer sleeve to protect against knifing of the jacket. Stiffeners will be added to reinforce the package, corners will be protected from scuffing & bending.
