THIS COLLECTION CAME FROM A PERSON WHO USED TO WORK IN A MAJOR RADIO STATION FROM THE LATE 1960'S TO THE EARLY 1990'S. THERE ARE UNIQUE TEST PRESSING ACETATE ETC.. OF ROCK / PUNK / SOUL / PROG ETC... SO PLEASE KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS FOR THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE TO GET THESE UNIQUE TEST PRESSINGS AND ACETATES.
This is one of the rarest STRANGLERS items available, the ORIGINAL 1977 promo version of "Peaches". AN ORIGINAL UK ISSUE IN NEAR MINT CONDITION, AND A MUST !!!.
This single is probably one of the true land marks of PUNK ROCK !!!

This is the PROMOTIONAL ONLY RADIO version of Peaches that was specially re-recorded / re-edited for radio play as some of the lyrics were found to be unsuitable for radio play.
the single also bears the release date of: 6-5-77, and a special catalogue number: FREE 4, and "This disc is for promotional use only" logo.
 
This PROMOTIONAL ONLY single came out in 1977 on UNITED ARTISTS RECORDS, catalogue number FREE 4 , a rare find and an ORIGINAL pressing !!!

The songs are: PEACHES / GO BUDDY GO.

This version of the single never came with a picture sleeve, and The condition of the VINYL is MINT- (PLAYED ONCE) !!!
This collection came from a major UK radio person who worked in a major UK radio station from the late 60's to the late 90's all the copies were ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUES or PROMO COPIES !!!
DON'T LET THIS RARE ORIGINAL UK PROMO / DEMO ONLY VERSION STRANGLERS 7" get away as you will NEVER see another one.
